Dream

Gosh, I could write an essay about all of my dreams. I am the ultimate dreamer but here are two that spring to mind. I dream of having a family of my own one day and raising kind little do-gooder human beings. I also dream of publishing a book about my globe trotting adventures.

Honor

Freedom. When there are so many in the world who dream of it. I will never take that for granted.

Darkest Moment

I only look ahead now. My darkest moment is behind me. Part of my history but will never define me.

Hope

When I witness gestures of kindness between strangers. It gives me hope that we do live in a world full of thoughtful and caring people.

Inspiration

I’m a sucker for a view! Every time I look out at the world from an impressive viewpoint it changes me. Oh and TED talks. I’m a sucker for those too!

Wake up, kick ass, be kind, repeat. I think that might be 4 seconds.

 Legacy

Gosh what a questions. I’ve never really thought about this. I have always wanted to inspire people to live their best life, pursue their dreams and be the best versions of themselves. We are all capable of it. So I guess I hope that will be my legacy.

 What advice would you give to yourself at 7 years old, 17 years old, 27 years old?

7 year old Gem “Play! Go wild in your imagination and enjoy every second of your precious childhood!”

17 year old Gem “Dare to Dream and never let another person define your happiness”.

27 year old Gem “The greatest moments of your life are yet to come. So get excited!”
