You are my greatest accomplishment and my greatest heartbreak. You made me fight for my dreams, you made some of them come true, you reminded me that some of them were too small. You break my heart over and over again, still I come running back to you. You taught me how to love again, how to forgive, how to honor my empathy. You helped me find my faith and hope again. Every time I broke, you helped put me back together. I fell in love with you, in a way I never dreamt possible. You made me work way too hard for you some days. You made a girl who never felt like she belonged, a woman with purpose. You make me resilient. You make me want to change the world and start conversations that matter. You make who I am. You, city of dreamers, of love and light, you made me a home, you made me belong for the first time in my life and for that, I thank you.
